About TiPi on House Party Radio
All thanks to radio, I caught the DJ bug at a very young age, think I was around 13 when I got hooked on dance music, listening to the likes of Pete Tong!
I begged my mum for months for my own set of decks and it didn't take long for her to cave in, as she treated me to a pair of belt drive decks! The neighbours hated me, as I would practise my mixing everyday when I got home from school, thinking I was playing in Cream on a Friday night
My first DJ gig was at a bowling centre, thanks to my mum, as she knew the DJ and he needed cover one night. I ended up DJing there regularly, it was a good laugh, I was more of a entertainer than a DJ, so I decided to leave after a few years, as I really wanted to start DJing in bars & nightclubs!
I managed to get signed up to a DJ agency and I was finally getting bookings to DJ in all types of bars & clubs around the North West.
My top 3 venues I've DJed at, Reef Bar in Warrington, The View Nightclub in Frodsham and Panama Jacks in Warrington
